Northern Kentucky Conservative Leaders Endorse Oleka for State Treasurer
Key Support Continues Building in Campaign’s First Month
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec.16, 2022) – Republican candidate for Kentucky State Treasurer OJ Oleka announced major endorsements from Northern Kentucky’s conservative leaders today. Kenton County Senator Chris McDaniel joins County Judge/Executives Kris Knochelmann (Kenton), Gary Moore (Boone) and Steve Pendery (Campbell) in support of Oleka’s campaign to represent a new generation of Republican leadership for Kentucky.
“I have worked with OJ for years. He is a passionate conservative and as principled as they come. He would be a great partner in the Treasurer’s office,” said Senator McDaniel, Chairman of the Senate Appropriations and Revenue Committee.
Earlier this week, Oleka announced endorsements from 20 current and incoming state legislators, including Kenton County’s Rep. Kim Moser.
“I’m impressed with how well OJ understands the job of State Treasurer. As a business owner and county government executive, I want to work with elected officials who have the experience to get the job done and will be fiscally conservative with the budget. For State Treasurer, that’s OJ Oleka,” said Kris Knochelmann, Kenton County Judge/Executive.
“As the County Judge Executive of one of the fastest growing, conservative Republican counties in Kentucky, I know how important it is to have experienced conservative leaders in government. OJ Oleka will be that kind of State Treasurer.” said Boone County Judge/Executive Gary Moore.
“I recently went to an event and heard OJ speak about his conservative record of success solving big problems and the importance of a new generation of Republican leaders who can get things done in Frankfort,” said Campbell County Judge/Executive Steve Pendery. “I left that event convinced OJ Oleka is the best candidate for State Treasurer.”
As former Deputy Treasurer, Oleka has both the experience and the fresh perspective to protect taxpayer dollars and defend Kentucky families’ financial interests as Kentucky’s next Treasurer.
“I’m honored to have the support of leaders who are encouraging opportunity and shaping the success of Northern Kentucky,” said Oleka, Republican candidate for Kentucky State Treasurer. “I look forward to working with them to help every family in this Commonwealth access the prosperity and promise Kentucky has to offer.”
