FRANKFORT, Ky. (Jan. 3, 2023) – Accomplished conservative and Republican candidate for Kentucky State Treasurer OJ Oleka announced today he raised $132,336 in his campaign’s first month. The sum represents the highest total of any Republican Treasurer candidate during the primary in the Commonwealth’s history, according to records from the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance.

As the son of immigrants, Oleka’s family has lived the American Dream. Those experiences formed the basis of his conservative values and inspired him to be part of a new generation of Republican leadership. He has received a groundswell of support across the Republican Party, earning endorsements from consequential Kentucky leaders who know he is the right candidate to build upon Allison Ball’s successful tenure as State Treasurer (full list of endorsements below).

On December 5, Oleka officially filed his paperwork in Frankfort. As Treasurer Ball’s top deputy, Oleka helped protect millions of tax dollars, defend Kentuckians’ private property and increased transparency in the state budget process.
